Taraba PDP promises fairness during gubernatorial primaries 

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Senator Abdullahi Ibrahim Danbaba (Sokoto South) as the new Deputy Minority Whip of the Senate.

Senator Danbaba is to replace the former Deputy Minority Whip, Senator Sahabi Ya’u (Zamfara North), who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) along with the two other Senators from Zamfara State, penultimate week.

Senator Danbaba’s appointment as the new Deputy Minority Whip in the Senate followed a letter written to that effect by the National Secretary of PDP, Senator Umaru Ibrahim Tsauri to the Senate and read in plenary by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan.

He accordingly after the reading of the letter, moved to the seat designated for minority Whip of the Senate.
