PHOTOS: Workers stage procession as police question Ajaero over alleged terrorism financing
Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) are currently out in their thousands, holding a solidarity procession in support of the Congress’ President, Joe Ajaero, who is scheduled to face police questioning.
Ajaero, who is expected to provide explanations for allegations related to terrorism financing, criminal conspiracy, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime, was invited for questioning last week.
But the labor leader said he had a prior engagement before the invitation came and would only be available today, Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Newsmen, who are currently at Labour House monitoring the situation, report that members of the labor movement will be marching to Guzape Junction, where the office of the Intelligence Response Team is located.
