Police arrest quack doctor for injecting, killing lady impregnated by her brother

The Kano State Police Command has apprehended a quack doctor identified as Chidera Ugwu and an individual named Ukasha Muhammed for their alleged involvement in injecting and drugging a pregnant woman, Amina Balarabe, leading to her tragic demise.

The Commissioner of Police in Kano, Mohammed Usaini Gumel, released a statement through the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna, providing details of the shocking incident.

According to the statement, Ukasha Muhammed impregnated his sister, Amina, and subsequently took her to the quack doctor, Mr. Ugwu, to terminate the pregnancy.

The suspects have reportedly confessed to the crime, and further investigations have uncovered a disturbing pattern of the quack doctor administering fatal injections to pregnant women, resulting in dire consequences.

The incident was reported on December 20, 2023, by Nura Balarabe, and the subsequent arrests mark a significant breakthrough in the police’s ongoing efforts to safeguard the lives and well-being of residents in the state.
