Police, NSCDC in Abuja clash with okada riders 

A tense confrontation unfolded at the Federal Housing Bridge along the Kubwa Expressway, as personnel from the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp clash with motorcyclists.

The situation sparked after the task force initiated the confiscation of motorcycles along the expressway as part of an operation to uphold traffic regulations, triggering a backlash from the motorcyclists.

The conflict escalated rapidly as the okada riders began throwing stones at the security personnel in a bid to disrupt the operation.

Responding swiftly, the operatives resorted to firing tear gas in an effort to disband the bikers and bring some calm to the chaotic scene.
