Policeman’s family seeks help after wife gives birth to triplets

A 25-year-old police officer’s wife in Jigawa State, Firdausi Muhammad, has reached out to Nigerians seeking for help after welcoming a set of triplets.

The nursing mother, who recently undergo a Cesarean section at the Dutse General Hospital in Jigawa State, expressed her gratitude for the successful delivery but also highlighted the urgent need for support from the community.

She specifically called on the state governor, Umar Nanadi, to extend a helping hand to her family.

Reports from Arewa PUNCH indicate that Firdausi gave birth to one baby boy and two baby girls around 12:30 pm on Saturday.

Thankfully, both she and her newborns are in stable condition and are currently receiving attentive care from the hospital’s medical staff.

Firdausi, who spoke to Arewa PUNCH, expressed surprise at the birth of the triplets, as she was initially told she was carrying twins.

“When I went for a scan, the result showed that i was carrying twins, but to my surprise, I delivered triplets,” she said.

The nursing mother who thanked Almighty God for the gift of the triplets, however, called on Nigerians to come to their aid to adequately care for the babies.

“I am appealing to the Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, and other individuals to support us to properly take good care of them,” Firdausi stated.

Dayyabu, the father of the triplets who is a low ranked police officer, also expressed gratitude to Allah for the gift of the triplets.

“I am very excited to see that my wife delivered triplets, unlike what was scanned earlier. This is a great gift to us,” he said.

Dayyabu urged for prayers and support for the good health of the mother and the babies.
