Popular American actor, Alec Baldwin, accidentally fires gun, kills cinematographer, injures director
Alec Baldwin, an American actor and producer, was reported to have accidentally fired a gun killing a cinematographer and wounded a director on the set of his upcoming film ‘Rust’ in New Mexico on Thursday.

The actor shot the photography director of the upcoming film, Rust, Halyna Hutchins, and Joel Souza, the film’s director, at the Bonanza Creek Ranch, at the south of Santa Fe.
Hutchins was taken by helicopter to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Souza was taken by ambulance to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical centre to undergo treatment for his injuries. The severity of his injuries could not immediately be determined.
Baldwin was visibly distraught after the incident.
No charges were filed, nor were any arrests made in the ongoing investigation.
