Recall that the state government had last week, as part of the preparation for the fasting period, issued a circular directing both public and private schools to bring the second term to an end on Friday to allow the Muslim faithful to participate in the fasting.

He added that the normal working hours would resume at the end of the Ramadan period.

He also urged people to remain steadfast in prayer for prevailing peace and stability in the state and Nigeria at large.
