Furthermore, delving deeper into the historical context of Nigerian politics, we can observe how the influence of different regions shapes electoral outcomes. The alliances and rivalries between regions have been instrumental in determining the course of elections, and in this regard, the North holds a significant advantage.
Mr. Eriye’s analysis predominantly centers on the proclamations articulated by Malam Nasir El-Rufai and Mr. Babachir Lawal, alongside the emergence of the League of Northern Democrats (LND).
