Sheikh Gumi loses mother
Kaduna based Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has lost his mother, Sunday evening.
His mother who died on Sunday around 5.30 pm was buried at the Unguwar Sarki cemetery according to Islamic rites.
In a statement on his verified Facebook page, Sheikh Gumi said: “Inna lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihil Raji’un. Today at 5.30 pm, with a sad heart, I announce the death of my dear mother.
He sought for prayers for Allah to forgive her sins.
”Please seek for her Allah’s forgiveness and mercy.
Her last words to me two weeks ago was: “lnsha Allah, Allah will put me and my children and grandchildren together in Jannah”.
”These words were very comforting to me. Rahmatul lahi alaiha. Amin”, he said.
