Continuing his longstanding tradition of charitable giving during the Holy Month of Ramadan, the leader of the Islamic movement, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, has distributed food packages, known as ‘Iftar Hadiyya,’ to communities.
The Director of the Office of Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky, Malam Hassan Bala, announced the initiative during the distribution.
The food distribution took place over several days in Abuja, Suleja (Niger State), and Mararaba (Nasarawa State), reaching residents in the capital and neighbouring regions.

Each package contained essential food items such as rice, spaghetti, sugar, and other staples to support fasting individuals and ease their Ramadan experience.
For more than three decades, Sheikh Zakzaky has upheld this tradition of kindness, ensuring that many can break their fast with ease.
Earlier this Ramadan, he also extended similar assistance to the people of Zaria and surrounding areas, as well as to communities in other states across the country.
Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for Sheikh Zakzaky’s continued generosity, offering prayers for his well-being and acknowledging his unfluctuating commitment to supporting the less privileged.
The ‘Iftar Hadiyya’ initiative remains a testament to Sheikh Zakzaky’s dedication to humanitarian service and is expected to continue in the years ahead.
