Sierra Leonean in the Netherlands surprised seeing country’s prime minister with no escorts, security (Video)

Salma, a Sierra Leonean national in the Netherlands was surprised as she walked with the country’s Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, going to work with no escorts or security guards following him.

Salma was shocked to have witnessed the moment for the first time in her life that the leader of a country walks freely on the streets without security guards.

Salma, perhaps was expecting a group of armed men with sophisticated weapons wearing bullet proof vests escorting the Prime Minister but that was not the case for Rutte who was walking alone and unguarded.

This is rather a different in other countries like the United States of America or the United Kingdom.

Salma was rather surprised because it would have been a different encounter if she dare approaches the president of her country of origin, Julius Maada Bio.

President Bio including presidents of other African countries are often seen with entourage of security personnel, including the army, police, private guards and even the country’s secret service.
