Some feared trapped as 3-storey building collapses in Kano market

Some people are believed to be trapped in the rubble after a three-storey building under construction collapsed along the popular Beirut road by Ibrahim Taiwo road in Kano metropolis.

Reports say emergency responders have arrived at the site to rescue the trapped victims at press time.

This is coming four days after a building in Kubwa, Satellite town in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital collapsed killing two persons.

Also, in June, a 20-year-old construction worker, Abdulkadir Nasiru, lost his life while his co-worker, Naziru Shafiu, sustained injuries following the collapse of a three-storey building in Kanti Kwari textile market in Kano State.
