Nigerian gov’t targets 14 million pupils in school feeding programme by 2023

Story from Sa'adatu MAINA, Damaturu Hajiya Sadiya Farouq, the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, says 14 million primary school pupils will benefit from the National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP) by 2023. Farouq disclosed this on Thursday at a stakeholders’ engagement on enumeration of beneficiaries and scaling up of the programme in Damaturu, Yobe.
