Police officer takes own life after accidentally shooting colleague Story from Hamzat Ibrahim ABAGA A police officer in Nyogor-Lueku, Rivers State, Inspector Nelson Abuante, has committed suicide following the accidental shooting of his colleague, Inspector Monday Gbaramana. A source disclosed that the unfortunate incident occurred during an attempt to apprehend a suspect who was resisting arrest, Mr Akere Akpobari, leading to a brawl between him and the officers.
