A humanitarian aid worker with the United Nations (UN), Abubakar Garba Idris and the Secretary-General of National Union of Yobe State Students (NUYOSS), Mua'ze Bawa have been abducted by Boko Haram. Idris, also known as Alooma and Bawa was abducted along Damaturu-Maiduguri road in Borno State, on Saturday. The incident happened when the insurgents attacked some commuters near Matari village between Minok to Jakana road around 8:30 am.
