A prison officer, Alfred Bazette, 28, who reportedly wrote promotional examinations three times and passed but was denied promotion has allegedly taken his own life. Bazette drank a poisonous substance on October 2, 2020, shortly after arriving at work. He was a Nigerian Correctional Service Officer at the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Keffi, Nasarawa State.
