Armed bandits suspected to be cattle rustlers yesterday stormed the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) in Jaji, Kaduna State and open fire on officer cadets. Sources revealed that an unconfirmed number of assailants, ran into students of Tactics Wing, NASI, during ‘Exercise Wazobia’ — a rigorous military drill at Labar camp and opened fire with the armed escort responding with a high volume of fire which made the bandits escaped in disarray.
