Benue governor restructures cabinet, replaces chief of staff, commissioners Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has officially dissolved the State Executive Council. The announcement came at the close of the council’s 12th meeting this year, where Governor Alia informed members that their terms had come to an end. This was confirmed in a statement released on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, in Makurdi. Governor Alia has asked all commissioners to promptly hand over their responsibilities to the permanent secretaries within their ministries.
