Over 40,000 Nasarawa IDPs return to ancestral homes Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) numbering about 40,000 have returned to their ancestral homes from the humanitarian crisis in 2021 in Nasarawa state. Mr Zachary Zamani-Allumaga, the Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Emergency Management Agency (NASEMA), disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday in Lafia. Zamani-Allumaga said that the IDPs were products of Humanitarian crises ranging from farmers/herders crisis and communal crisis among others.
