The Borno state Commissioner for Health, Mrs Juliana Bitrus has disclosed that a total of 559 cholera cases have been established in the state. Mrs Bitrus revealed this while addressing newsmen in Maiduguri, according to the commissioner "Currently 57 affected individuals are on admission in hospitals across the seven local government areas of the state. The commissioner added that ”The most affected local government areas include Jere, Gwoza, Kaga, Hawul, Magumeri, Damboa and Maiduguri.
