Driver knocks down senior police officer during stop-and-search

Driver knocks down senior police officer during stop-and-search A hit-and-run driver has killed an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) attached to the Ekiti State Police Command. The officer identified as Idris Lawal was reportedly crushed to death at a checkpoint at Ayemi Garage along Iworoko Road in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
