NUC exposes 100 fake professors in varsities

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has revealed that about 100 fake professors have been uncovered by the commission. The Executive Secretary of the board, Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, disclosed this at the 2019 retreats for Vice-Chancellors of various universities. Professor Rasheed said that the details of the fake lecturers were posted on the NUC website and the commission had sent the names to the various universities for verification.
