FG warns Nigerians against recruitment for foreign wars, cites deceptive overseas offers The Federal Government of Nigeria has cautioned citizens against falling victim to fraudulent recruitment schemes luring Nigerians into foreign armed conflicts under false pretences. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government expressed concern over reports that some Nigerians are being enticed with promises of lucrative employment, security-related jobs, educational opportunities, and fast-tracked migration benefits abroad, only to be coerced into military service upon arrival.
