EFCC counters Yahaya Bello’s surrender claims The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has debunked former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello’s claim of voluntarily surrendering, stating that he was arrested by operatives in Lokoja at midnight. Bello is currently detained at the EFCC Headquarters in Abuja, where he faces a serious 19-count indictment for money laundering linked to an alleged N80 billion.
