The Federal Government of Nigeria has dissolved the the governing boards of all its media agencies functioning under the Ministry of Information and Culture due to the expiration of their tenures. This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja by Dr Ifeoma Anyanwutaku, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry. Affected agencies are the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), and Federal Radio Corporation (FRC), among others.
