Pharmacy council seals 531 illegal premises in FCT The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) sealed 531 illegal premises in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) during an enforcement exercise conducted from June 24 to June 27. Pharm. Stephen Esumobi, Director of Enforcement at PCN, announced the closures during a press briefing on Friday in Abuja. Out of 908 premises inspected, 90 pharmacies, 144 patent medicine shops, and 297 illegal medicine shops were shut down for various violations, including operating without registration, non-renewal of premises certificates, and stocking unauthorised medicines.
