Despite police ban, Emir Sanusi holds Sallah Durbar in Kano (Pictures) The reinstated Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, held Sallah durbar to commemorate the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir occasion in Kano State. Earlier, the Kano State Police Command announced the cancellation of Durbar celebrations in the state. Emir Sanusi had led Eid prayer and sermon at the Kofar Mata Jumu’at mosque.     The Eid prayer was observed at the Kofar Mata Jumu’at mosque due to heavy rain that flooded the premises of the Eid ground which could not be used.
