LASG reveals plan to become major tourism destination in Africa 

The Lagos State Government (LASG) has revealed its plans to position the state as a major tourism destination in Africa. This was disclosed by the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yussufat at a press briefing organised to commemorate the second anniversary of Governor Sanwo-Olu in office. Akinbile-Yussuf said: "The tourism activities of the Ministry are deliberately structured towards positioning the State as a major destination in Africa, where the private sector can confidently invest its resources to advance the tourism and entertainment sectors.
