Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, loses 85-year-old brother Nigerian playwright, novelist, poet, and essayist in the English language, Wole Soyinka, has lost his brother, Professor Femi Soyinka. Soyinka, a former Provost of the College of Health Sciences of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, died on Tuesday at age 85. In a statement by his family, signed by his son, Ayodele, Soyinka died at his home in Kukumada Village, Ibadan, Oyo State.
