Gov. Buni dissolves 17 local government caretaker chairmen Story from Sa'adatu MAINA, Damaturu Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, on Wednesday approved the dissolution of all 17 Local Government Caretaker Chairmen in the state. This is contained in a statement by the Press Secretary to Yobe Governor, Shuaibu Abdullahi, and made available to Neptune Prime correspondent in Damaturu. The statement read, "Governor Buni has directed all Local Government Chairmen to handover the affairs of their Local Governments to Directors of Personnel Management on or before Thursday 25th April, 2024".
