Kebbi to spend ₦54m on mass wedding for 300 couples The Kebbi State Government has commenced preparations for a mass wedding for 300 couples in the state, scheduled for February 27. The government will provide ₦180,000 as dowry for each bride, as well as other items such as room furniture and foodstuffs. The mass wedding is in fulfillment of a promise made by Governor Nasir Idris to assist the less privileged in getting married.
