Suspected ESN/IPOB gunmen have attacked the Mbieri Divisional Police Headquarters in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the State. Imo state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Orlando Ikeokwo, confirmed this to newsmen in Owerri, saying that the attack occurred at about 23:30 pm on Wednesday. He said no officer had gone missing or kidnapped in the attack, adding that the hoodlums were repelled by the officers on duty after engaging the bandits in a gun battle.
