Yobe Govt approves N3.23 billion for cargo airport, road, market projects

Story from Sa'adatu MAINA, Damaturu The Yobe State Executive Council yesterday approved over N3.2 billion for additional works at the Damaturu International Cargo Airport which is scheduled to begin operation in three months and the Gashua Modern Market as well as the construction of roads and drainages in the state. The Commissioner for Home Affairs, Information and Culture, Abdullahi Bego, disclosed this in Damaturu while briefing journalists on the outcome of the council meeting which was presided over by Deputy Governor Idi Barde Gubana.
