Challenges of tracking terrorists and bandits, by Ayuba Ahmad  For close to two decades, the nation's security agencies have been locked in fierce battles with two different types of terrorist groups. They are the Boko Haram and a variety of other Islamist insurgents as well as several gangs of marauding armed bandits and kidnappers. While the insurgents are based mainly in the Northeastern states of Borno and Yobe, the bandits and kidnappers are predominantly found in states in the Northwestern, North central, Southwestern and the Niger Delta regions.
