Kano court fines tailor for noise pollution A tailor, Mubarak Yusuf, has been arraigned before a magistrate court in Kano State over noise pollution. According to a BBC Hausa Service report on Saturday, the tailor was arraigned by the state ministry of environment following a complaint by his neighbours who said he disturbs them with sound at night while performing his work. The tailor was subsequently fined by the court for environmental pollution resulting from the noise generated by his generator and sewing machines.
