Police arrest suspect over stabbing of Plateau United striker Temitope The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested a suspect over the alleged stabbing of Vincent Temitope, Plateau United striker, at the Lafia City stadium. On Sunday, Plateau United claimed Temitope was struck in the neck by a fan who “held a knife” after the club’s 3-2 away loss to Nasarawa United. Yaksat Maklek, the club’s director of media operations, said the incident happened when some fans approached Temitope for photos after the game.
