Plateau varsity shut over attacks, Gov seeks enhanced security   The Plateau State University, located in Bokkos Local Government Area, has been closed following recent attacks. The decision to shut down the university came after gunmen attacked the Chikam community near the university, resulting in the tragic death of a 200-level student from the institution.
