Gombe government releases N1.5 billion for gratuity 

From Fatima Ibrahim, Gombe The Gombe State Government has released a total of N1.5 billion for the payment of retirees in six months says, Governor Inuwa Yahaya. Yahaya made the disclosure during the flag-off of Youth Empowerment and Social Support Operation (YESSO) program in Billiri Local Government Area of the state yesterday. According to him, the government is still paying retired civil servants their gratuity inherited from the previous administration.
