FG appoints Prof. Adamu as UniAbuja acting VC Story by Jessica Mbamah The Federal Government has appointed Professor Mathew Adamu as the new Acting Vice Chancellor of Yakubu Gowon University (formerly University of Abuja). According to a statement issued by the Acting Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. Roseline Adakayi, Professor Adamu will take over from Professor Patricia Manko Lar, who was appointed in February 2025 for a six-month tenure.
