FG to modify its payment system, IPPIS for UTAS, UP3S

The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has agreed to modify its payment platform, the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS), to accommodate the peculiarities of the University Transparency Accountability System (UTAS), and Universities Peculiar Personnel Payroll System (UP3S). Recall that ASUU and the federal government have been at loggerheads, leading to an industrial action by the former since February 14, 2022, as it claimed that the government breached agreements reached earlier concerning the peculiarities of their individual payment platforms - UTAS, IPPIS among others.
