Thugs burn down popular musician’s house in Kano
The house of a popular singer in Northern Nigeria, Kano State, Dauda Kahutu aka Rarara, has been set ablaze.
Rarara’s house was reportedly set ablaze shortly after the declaration of the candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Abba Kabir Yusuf, as the governor-elect of Kano State.

Rarara who is a political singer was at the centre stage of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign, singing at the parties’ various rallies, Daily Trust reports.
According to an eyewitness, who is also a resident of the area, Yusuf Abdullahi, the thugs invaded the house and started destroying valuables before setting the house on fire.
However, minutes after the police were said to have dispersed the thugs and made arrests while the fire was still raging.
