Tinubu appoints 8 new perm secs
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed eight new permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill existing and impending vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones.
This marks the second wave of appointments since June, which included selections from states such as Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, and regions in the South East and South-South.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced that the appointments were made following a thorough recommendation from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries include Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu from Abia State, Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip from Bayelsa State, Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia from Ebonyi State, Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam from Enugu State, Kalba Danjuma Usman from Gombe State, Usman Salihu Aminu from Kebbi State, Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso from Rivers State, and Nadungu Gagare from Kaduna State.
President Tinubu has urged the appointees to embody dedication, diligence, and innovation in their roles as they serve the country.
