General Abdulmalik Jibril (rtd) has disclosed that the administration of President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will enhance intelligence and security for the benefit of all Nigerians.
The retired General who is also Director of the Directorate of Intelligence and Security of the All Progressives Congress – Presidential Campaign Council, (APC-PCC) stated in Abuja on Wednesday that security and peace are vital to Nigeria and its neighbours.
According to him, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu improved security in Lagos when he was the Governor, which led to growth and development.

“His manifesto has stated that he will strive to ensure and enhance peace for the socio-economic development of the country.”
“The proactive achievements of the incoming Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, when he was the Governor of Borno led to the reduction of attacks by Boko Haram, formed Civilian Joint Task Force, (CTTF), gave hope to the people and will continue his zeal towards improved security.
General Abdulmalik Jibril calls on Nigerians to avoid any act that would jeopardise the peace of the country.
The politician also called on Nigerians to continue supporting security agencies with intelligence so they can provide security to the populace.
