Tragedy strikes as Nigerian passenger dies aboard Egypt Air flight to London
A young Nigerian woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, tragically passed away while on an Egypt Air flight en route to London, United Kingdom.
She had embarked on her journey from Nigeria, departing from the Murtala Muhammad International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos and was on Egypt Air MS 876 flight to Cairo when the unfortunate incident occurred.

According to a family source, “The airline didn’t inform them, but rather they got a message from the consular office in Cairo informing them of her death on board the flight. Please, they need to know what exactly happened and how to get her corpse back to Nigeria,” a source close to the family said.
The young lady was traveling to London on a student visa and had planned to continue her journey with Egypt Air MS777 the following day.
As of the time of this report, Egypt Air had not provided an immediate response, as sources close to the airline stated that they were awaiting further information from Cairo regarding this distressing incident.
