Trump sacks General Langley, names new AFRICOM commander
President Donald Trump has sacked General Langley as the head of AFRICOM, which is based in Stuttgart, Germany. He is replaced by Lt General RM Anderson, who will be promoted to the position of a full general and assigned the position.
It can be recalled that last month, general Langley (aka Judas Iscariot) told dangerous fabricated stories to the USA senate committee on military spending that Ibrahim Traore is stealing his country’s gold to fund his personal security.
This false narrative caused uproar in Africa and among the diaspora populace around the world. Many Africans saw this smear campaign as an attempt by America to take out the ever popular Ibrahim Traore.
