Twining Twist, Twisting Twine, a poem by Professor Ikechukwu Benjamin Ezeohagwu

I
Twining twist, twisting twine,
uniting in harmony
of motifs and contrasts,
becoming better and letter,
through order and pattern.

II
Twining twist, twisting twine,
evolving in strength
of causes and effects,
exhibiting tones and notes,
through chords and balance.

III
Twining twist, twisting twine,
working in symphony
of time and tide,
revealing notion and motion,
through variety and diversity.

IV
Twining twist, twisting twine,
combining in forms
of grasp and graft,
making choice and poise,
through logic and expression.

V
Twining twist, twisting twine,
growing in sense
of quality and quantity,
awaking music and dance,
through weaving and sifting.
