Unidentified gunmen fatally shoot nursing mother in her bathroom
In a devastating turn of events, a young nursing mother, identified as Adijat, has tragically lost her life after being shot by unidentified gunmen while taking a bath.
The heartbreaking incident took place during the late hours of Tuesday in the Oke-Akute area of Iba, located in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
Reports indicate that Adijat, a Fulani lady, was confronted by armed assailants inside her bathroom. The fatal gunshot wound she sustained ultimately claimed her life on Thursday, despite her valiant fight for survival.

In response to this appalling act, Kehinde Adeleke, spokesperson for the Osun command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), confirmed the incident.
Adeleke expressed that although the perpetrators of this heinous crime remain unidentified, law enforcement agencies are actively working to apprehend them and ensure justice is served.
Understandably, residents of the community are gripped with fear due to this tragic incident, which echoes a similar occurrence that took place two years ago.
Wale, a concerned resident, passionately implores the security agencies to intensify their efforts in apprehending the suspects to alleviate the ongoing fear and restore a sense of safety within the community.
