Wike dares PDP chair Damagum: Sue me lf you can you’re a political tax collector

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has ignited fresh political drama after labeling the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, a “political tax collector.”

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Wike threw down a public challenge to Damagum, daring him to take legal action if he felt defamed.

“Damagum is a political tax collector. I challenge him to sue me. Let him go to court — he knows he cannot,” Wike declared emphatically.

Responding to questions about reports that Channels Television was facing legal action over his earlier remarks, Wike dismissed the notion, insisting the media platform should not be targeted for his words.

“They should sue me, not Channels TV. I was the one who spoke,” he said.

The outspoken minister maintained that he had evidence to support his claims and accused some politicians of prioritizing money over integrity.

“If Damagum takes me to court, I’m ready to defend myself. Some people in politics think money is everything, but they have no principles,” Wike asserted.
