Wizkid’s mother to be buried in Lagos October 13
The family of Nigerian music star, Wizkid, has announced the burial arrangements for his mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, who passed away on August 18.
The funeral rites will be held on October 12 and 13, with a wake and tribute scheduled for the 12th and the funeral the following day.
The funeral service will be held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) City of David, Victoria Island in Lagos.

Wizkid is known for his love and devotion to his mother and even dedicated a song to her in his 2014 album, Ayo.
Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun on July 16, 1990, Wizkid is a prominent figure in the modern-day Afrobeats music scene.
He began recording music at the age of 11 and signed a record deal with Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009 before releasing the lead single from his debut studio album, Superstar, in 2011 which also spawned the singles “Tease Me/Bad Guys” and “Don’t Dull”.
