Yoruba group celebrates coronation of King Charles III with matching Ankara

A United Kingdom-based Yoruba group, Tayese London, has joined the world to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and wished him a happy and prosperous reign.

The group celebrated the coronation with matching Ankara fabrics.

Punch reports that the group has the mission to promote arts and culture through education, events, and documentaries.

Charles III on Saturday was officially crowned king in the first coronation in Britain since 1953.

As well as being the first coronation in 70 years, it was the first of a king since 1937. It was only the second to be televised and the first in colour and streamed online.
